TROY Giving Day 2023

The School of Nursing is excited to announce our "Support a Nurse" annual initiative that will break down barriers for nursing students. All proceeds will assist the students in purchasing necessary nursing equipment such as stethoscopes, scrubs, lab coats, and so much more. For each 30 gifts, a gift of $100 will be unlocked! We have a goal of 300 gifts to support current ASN and BSN students. Unlocking funds contributed by faculty from the School of Nursing.

When 10 gifts of $100 or more made to any Sorrell College of Business fund will unlock $1,000 donated by Sorrell College of Business alum, Jason Bennett (’91)

When 30 donors make a gift of any amount to any College of Education fund, $3,000 will unlock from a donation by Drs. Cheryl (’70) and Clinton Carter (’56).

Foundation Board Member Dr. Manuel Johnson ’73 has donated $9,000 to challenge 90 gifts of any amount to any fund within the Sorrell College of Business. Give now to any fund within the Sorrell College of Business to unlock this challenge.

Leadership board is committed to giving 100%. Rosemary Elebash, President, has committed $1,000 when all 18 Board of Directors have made a gift.

The Manuel H. Johnson Center for Political Economy at Troy University provides a dynamic and rigorous education program focused on the moral imperatives of free markets and individual liberty, as well as relevant policy research on current and local issues. 10 gifts of $100 or more to the Manuel H. Johnson Center will unlock a $1,000 challenge from Foundation Board Member Dr. Manuel Johnson ‘73!

For every 25 gifts donated to the Sound of the South Band Program, the Troy University Band Alumni Chapter will donate $500 to SOTS. Donate to unlock up to $2,500.

Dr. Imogene Mixson (’59), College of Education alum, has given $1,000 to be unlocked when 10 gifts of $100 or more is made to any fund within the College of Education.

In celebration of the thirtieth year of the Pike County Alumni Chapter, the board is donating $300.00 to be unlocked when 30 gifts of $10.00 or more is made to support the Pike County/Mike Amos Endowed Scholarship.

When 5 gifts of $100 or more are made to any College of Communication and Fine Arts fund $500, donated by Dr. Michael Thrasher, Dean, will be unlocked.

Montgomery Metro Alumni Chapter has committed $1,000 to challenge10 gifts to the Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship.

When 10 gifts of $100 or more are made to the College of Health and Human Services General Fund, $1,000 which has been donated by our new Dean, Dr. LaGary Carter, will be unlocked.
