You may have missed Giving Day, but you can still give!
College of Health and Human Services

In its nearly 30 years, The College of Health and Human Services at Troy University has set a standard for producing the best graduates in healthcare. Whether it is a social worker, athletic trainer, nurse, or physical therapist, the College prides itself on educating and training the students to lead in their field. We are excited about the growth the College has experienced over the last year, and we need your help to keep the momentum going. Your donations fuel innovation, enhance resources and create opportunities that extend far beyond our campus. Please consider contributing to one of the following Giving Day initiatives below and let’s make Giving Day 2023 and resounding success! Thank you for supporting the future of healthcare!

College of Health and Human Services

College of Health and Human Services Fund donations are used to advance the College in immediate areas of need in each department whether it be for building maintenance, programmatic support, future equipment needs, and so much more.

Health Science Building/Jones Hall will open in 2024, and will be the new home for the School of Nursing and the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. All funding will help purchase new equipment to properly furnish the labs and classroom spaces. For more information about the new building, visit JONES HALL

School of Nursing

School of Nursing General Fund donations are used to advance the School of Nursing. Current areas of need are new lab equipment for simulation labs that include high-fidelity manikins and hospital beds.

Undergraduate Nursing Emergency Fund gifts will be given to students that need financial support whether it be to pay a light bill, food expenses, help with books, etc. We want to assist our nursing students in times of need so they can focus on completing the program successfully.

White Coat & Stethoscope Nursing Fund designed to provide assistance to ASN and BSN students throughout their academic journey, from their first semester until graduation. By contributing, you will directly aid students in acquiring essential medical equipment such as scrubs, stethoscopes, shoes, and smaller items like bandage scissors, clipboards, and badge holders. Through this fund, we aim to eliminate financial barriers, allowing current students to excel and hopefully recruiting others to make the jump into the nursing field.

Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion (KHP)

Department of KHP Current Scholarship is awarded annually to the top KHP student within the program. This is an annual scholarship and is awarded each August.

KHP Health and Promotions Fund donations help promote and grow the KHP department in areas of need. Our immediate needs include new lab equipment for our Sports Science Lab, Applied Physiology Lab, and BCBS Movement Ed Lab. Additional funding is used to grow the department to meet the needs of our communities.

School of Social Work and Human Services

School of Social Work and Human Services (SWHS) General Fund donations will help promote and grow the School of SWHS. Immediate needs include faculty travel assistance, classroom upgrades, funding for award ceremonies, and much more.
